Who are We? - We are people from the community working together to care for one another. We come from all faiths or no faith. Just people working to care for one another because we respond to God who cares for everyone.
Some History - Stewartstown Food Pantry came out of Stewartstown United Methodist Church. For several years we have supplied weekly backpacks filled with food for the weekend for families whose elementary age children receive assistance through the school lunch program. When COVID hit, it became even more obvious that families needed help with food. The pantry has outgrown the church and the backpack ministry and was moved to its current location in May, 2021.Former backpack recipients are invited to participate in the food pantry program.
